About White Plains Farmers' Market

Located at 59 Court St, White Plains, NY 10601, White Plains Farmers' Market operates as a specialty food store serving White Plains in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

Don't like the Argentinian empanadas grease hard and very expensive, across from them and I can buy a delicious Colombian empanadas for half the price sorry! Their chimichurri sauce was grossly full of oil! Never ever! Next to the empanadas was a stand with sausages looked very appetizing, so I wanted a sandwich ...for over 9.00 dollars they refused to giving cooked onions, they just want to put roar onions so I said no thanks! Love to sharpen my knives for 7 dollars a piece, but I felt Mike could do a much better job. Loved the Cooper faucet soap and oils, a little pricey but good products! And I really loved the stand that sells dry tomatoes ufff they are to die for. Recommend highly.

This is probably my favorite farmers market in Westchester County. A great selection of produce (and other goodies) to choose from and the quality and service are equal. I do have 2 favorite farm tables that I always buy from but I do shop other vendors as well πŸ…πŸŒΆπŸ₯‘πŸ§…πŸŠ

In June, my wife and I went for a walk and discovered that on Wednesday’s, there is a great farmers market on Court Street in White Plains. We have made it our Wednesday morning ritual but now we drive since we live to buy the fresh peaches, apples, and delicious tomatoes from the wonderful Farber’s who are bringing their freshly picked produce in from their farms. In addition to the farmers, there is a knife sharpening vendor, who has rejuvenated our knives and gardening tools. They have vendors selling everything from vegetarian wraps to steak sandwiches. To our delight, the Farber’s are all masked and social distancing is strictly enforced. We have had no problems finding parking and it’s a great treat if you’ve been sitting in front of your computers working all day, to take a break and pick up the freshest and most delicious produce and fruits.
